Hey all, this is a shout about a gig that features you’re very own Alex Campbell and myself on the 27th of March. The gig will be on the last Sunday of every month and is set up to promote the best of the north-easts folk and acoustic music. Anyone who would like to be involved

The last Sunday of every month will prove a gathering of some of the finest folk and acoustic artists from the north east and beyond! Some will strum
guitars and sing dities of melancholia while others will press their finger into their ear and sing shanties, ballads and cowboy songs. The event is put on by Simon Stephenson and Luke Bevan, who both want to see all acoustic music well represented in Newcastle!!So awesomeness i…n guarenteed!!!!

Alex Campbell and Meghann Clancy: Soaring vocal harmonies and fantastic songwriting featuring acoustic guitar, piano, mandolin and synth
John Holler: ‘Performs the Appalachian Sonatas and Mississippi Ragas of John Fahey’
Rob Heron and his Tea Pad Orchestra: Songs celebrating a life of debauchery fantastically performed with guitar, double bass, accordion and YES a drummer with a suitcase for a bass drum!
